Location of the unit

"Aperanto" is located at one of the most beautiful areas of Sifnos, the picturesque village of Faros, 1 minute on foot from the golden sandy beach of Glipho and from Faros' beach. Close to the unit, following a picturesque paved path, you will find the third beach of the area, Fassolou beach.

At Glipho beach, there is a path that leads to Chrissopigi's beach, Apokofto. The paved path passes by the installations of the old mines and it is one of the most popular and on of the easiest paths of Sifnos. The view to Faros and to Chrissopigi is really amazing.

Hikers can follow the path that connects the villages Faros and Kastro, crossing a big and really beautiful part of the island. The starting point of the path is only a few meters away from the unit.

Close to the unit, you will find mini markets, cafeterias, restaurants and fish-taverns, where you can taste fresh fish and unique local dishes, while really close to the unit there is also the public free parking lot and the bus stop.
